Shoes
Check toe shape, sole color, stitching, glue marks, heel tabs, size tags, and whether the left and right shoes look balanced.
QC checklist
Warehouse photos are not decoration. They are the last practical checkpoint before the item becomes expensive to fix. Use them to verify the product, confirm sizing, and decide whether to ship, exchange, return, or ask for more photos.
A useful QC set should show the whole item, not only the most flattering angle. If an important detail is hidden, ask for one extra photo before approving international shipping.
A beautiful item is still a bad order if it does not fit. For clothing and shoes, compare measurements against something you already own. Label size alone is not enough, especially when the listing uses regional sizing, oversized fits, or vague size charts.
Different items fail in different ways. Use the category to decide what deserves attention first.
Check toe shape, sole color, stitching, glue marks, heel tabs, size tags, and whether the left and right shoes look balanced.
Inspect logo placement, zipper quality, strap alignment, interior lining, corners, handle shape, and hardware color.
Look at sleeve length, zipper pulls, patch placement, fabric texture, filling balance, collar shape, and overall weight.
Check engraving, clasp quality, chain length, lenses, stitching, packaging claims, and whether close-up photos show clean finishing.
Not every flaw matters equally. A small loose thread may be acceptable on a low-cost item, while the wrong size, wrong color, missing part, or visibly damaged product should stop the shipment.
Keep requests specific. Instead of asking for "more pictures," ask for the exact angle or measurement you need. That makes it easier for warehouse staff to help and easier for you to make a decision.
Approve shipping only when the item matches your order and the visible risks are acceptable. Ask for an exchange when the seller sent the wrong item or a fixable defect is obvious. Return or abandon the link when the risk is bigger than the savings.
